Peter Jarvis
Chairman / Founder

Mr. Jarvis has thirty three years of experience in healthcare finance. Mr. Jarvis joined Ernst & Ernst (now Ernst & Young) in 1972 and held various positions with them through 1981. His area of expertise was primarily governmental reimbursement consulting services. Subsequent to his tenure with Ernst & Ernst, Mr. Jarvis held positions as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of a large hospital and a multi-hospital system. Since 1990, Mr. Jarvis has been the founder and chief executive officer of several healthcare consulting companies in addition to serving on the Board of various healthcare organizations. Mr. Jarvis received his Bachelors Degree from Michigan Technological University in 1972. He has attended numerous healthcare educational programs and taught reimbursement classes at Ernst & Ernst's National Education Center. Mr. Jarvis was registered as a Certified Public Accountant in 1974 and is a member of The Healthcare Financial Management Association. Mr. Jarvis is located in Orange, California.
David S. Harrington

Mr. Harrington brings over 35 years of increasingly responsible and successful experience in all key areas of healthcare delivery management. His particular interest lies in identifying and implementing key IS/IT initiatives that will differentiate the enterprise and offer expanded efficiencies and savings to customers. Mr. Harrington is rare among senior healthcare managers, having held executive positions with health plans (AETNA and United Healthcare), hospitals (Columbia/HCA), and physician-owned enterprises (Physician Quality Care). As CEO of American Imaging Management (AIM) from 2001-2008, Mr. Harrington turned around this radiology management business from minimal EBITDA and a negative net worth of $19M, grew the EBITDA to over $30M, and increased the net worth in excess of $350M. In August 2007, AIM was sold to WellPoint for $307M. In 2009, Mr. Harrington established DASH Business Group as a business advisory and development firm to early stage healthcare companies. Mr. Harrington earned his graduate degree from Columbia University and his undergraduate degree from Boston College.
Eric E. Whitaker
MD, MPH

Dr. Eric E. Whitaker is the Executive Vice President, Strategic Affiliations and Associate Dean of Community-based Research at the University of Chicago Medical Center (UCMC). He is responsible for leading the UCMC's Urban Health Initiative, linking the Medical Center's mission of patient care, teaching and research for the purpose of improving the health of South Side residents.

Until October, 2007, he served as Director of the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH). In this capacity, Dr. Whitaker oversaw an agency with a budget of $450 million with over 1,200 employees statewide, as well as 3 laboratories and seven regional offices.

Prior to his appointment at the State, Dr. Whitaker was an attending physician in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago and a member of its Collaborative Research Unit. His research interests included HIV/AIDS prevention and minority health, particularly for black males. He helped found Project Brotherhood: A Black Men's Clinic, a weekly clinic for African American men housed in Woodlawn Adult Health Center, which is affiliated with the Cook County Bureau of Health Services. African American men die prematurely from preventable diseases and this innovative clinic provides free haircuts to entice men to visit. Visitors to the clinic receive a holistic approach to health and wellness that addresses their physical as well as mental, vocational and spiritual needs. In 2000, the project received the highest award accorded by the National Association of Public Hospital and Health Systems.

In 1991, Dr. Whitaker represented the 30,000 members of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) as its national president while testifying twice before the U.S. Congress regarding national health insurance and minority health issues. In November 2003, he was named as one of Crain's Chicago Business' Forty under Forty Chicago's rising stars in business and government.

Dr. Whitaker received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Grinnell College in 1987, and in 1993 a master's degree in public health from the Harvard School of Public Health and a medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He also has completed coursework at the Northwestern Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Dr. Whitaker serves on the boards of WBEZ (Chicago Public Radio), the Chicago 2016 Olympics Committee, Partnership for Prevention, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Grinnell College.
Scott Hilinski

Mr. Hilinski joined Nautic Partners in 1995. Prior to joining Nautic, Mr. Hilinski was employed at TA Associates and Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Hilinski focuses on healthcare investments and serves on the Investment Committee and Executive Committee of Nautic Partners VI, L.P. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of HPS Holding Company, LLC, Oasis Outsourcing, LLC, PHNS, Inc., Gaymar Holding Company, LLC and Key Health Group, Inc. Recent exited investments include Medegen Holdings, LLC, AIM Holding Company, LLC and AXIA Health Management, LLC. Mr. Hilinski received an AB from Harvard College.
Chris Corey

Mr. Corey joined Nautic Partners in 2008. Prior to joining Nautic, Mr. Corey was employed at J.H. Whitney & Co. and Lehman Brothers. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of HPS Holding Company, LLC, HB Performance Systems Holdings, LLC, and MACTEC, Inc. Mr. Corey received a BA from Assumption College and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
